My Favorite Self-Care Habits That Actually Help My Mental Health

 Introduction Self-care is often portrayed as something that is luxurious and, oftentimes, expensive. Well, I am here to tell you that it is not always the case; in fact, most self-care habits that have helped me range from inexpensive to free altogether. Unfortunately, it is also commonly shown in the media as something that only needs to be done when someone has extreme burnout or has reached a low point. However, with daily self-care habits worked into your routine (regardless of how busy your life gets), you would be surprised how much less often you get to the point of burnout where even basic tasks feel impossible. Real self-care is not always easy nor aesthetic, but it almost always will make a difference with consistency and truly believing it can make a difference.
